Smart Farming is a high and effective system of doing agriculture and growing food in a sustainable
way. It is an application of implementing connected devices and innovative technologies together
into agriculture. Smart Farming majorly depends on IoT thus eliminating the need of physical work of
farmers and growers and thus increasing the productivity in every possible manner.

With the recent agriculture trends dependent on agriculture, Internet of Things has brought huge
benefits like efficient use of water, optimization of inputs and many more. What made difference
were the huge benefits and which has become a revolutionized agriculture in the recent days.

IoT based Smart Farming improve the entire Agriculture system by monitoring the field in realtime.
With the help of sensors and interconnectivity, the internet of things in Agriculture has not only saved
the time of the farmers but has also reduced the extravagant use of resources such as water and
electricity. It keeps various factors like humidity, temperature, soil moisture, Soil PH etc. under check
and gives a crystal clear real-time observation.

NGS Smart Farming

The aim of the project is to introduce the latest technology into the agriculture business and better
crop production by collecting real-time status of crop and informing the farmers about it. NGS smart
Farming bring your farm into the modern age of technology, serving as your reliable “eyes and ears”
in the field 24/7. Now you can have an affordable, flexible, rugged solution that delivers the data you
need to manage key elements that keep crops healthy, yields high and money in your pocket

NGS Smart Farming System

NGS Smart Farming is a revolution of precision agriculture: It gathers intelligence by measuring,
monitoring and managing critical field data related climate, irrigation, and crop production
and almost any sensor you choose to suit your needs and microclimate. Sensor data is gathered over
a secure, selfoptimizing, self-healing network.

What is NGS Smart Farming?

Have you ever wished for an assistant who would roam your fields, day and night, and keep you
informed of changes that might affect your plants? Or maybe a time machine that would let you go
back a day or two before an unusual cold snap damaged your crop? NGS Smart Farming lets you
add almost any sensor you need anywhere you need it in your microclimate. As your needs grow
and change, you can add or move sensors to create an affordable field system with cloud-based
data and user-friendly software.

How Does It Work?

1. You choose the sensors you need. Select from Agricultural third-party sensors.
2.Install the sensors and connect them to Nodes (up to 4 sensors per Node).
3. Pair Nodes to the Gateway (25+ Nodes per Gateway) using easy, step-by-step directions in our
NGS Smart Farming configuration app.
4.The Nodes form a secure, self-optimizing, self-healing network, transmitting data from
sensors to the Gateway or another Node. Data flows automatically from your fields to your smart
phone, giving you the information you need to make important decisions.
5.Manage your crops with personalized software that offers custom alerts, team set-up, and more
all to help you streamline farm management processes. Access your data on WeatherLink.com as
well as through Mobilize, our powerful management app.

The NGS Smart Farming Gateway :

Your data transportation center

The NGS Smart Farming Gateway collects all data from the Nodes and pushes it securely to the
Cloud using cellular connectivity. From there the data can be accessed on your internetconnected
devices like smart phones, tablets and computers. The Gateway is encapsulated in a weather-resistant
housing and is solar-powered with a battery back-up to keep your data flowing.

You can gather data from 25+ Nodes per Gateway. That's up to 80 Agricultural sensors per Gateway!
And because the Nodes can communicate up to 4,000 feet (1200 meters) in ideal conditions, you
can cover a lot of ground with one network

The NGS Smart Farming Node :

Your sensor data collector

Connect accurate and reliable sensors, as well as third party sensors such as flow meters, pressure
switches and more, to a NGS Smart Farming Node. You can connect up to four sensors per node.

Nodes gather data from sensors and communicate with each other (up to 4,000 feet, 1200 meters).
They connect over a self-optimizing mesh network that feeds your data wirelessly to the GT Smart
Farming Gateway. Every Node is a self-contained, weather-resistant, solar-powered unit that comes
with mounting hardware. You can have 25+ Nodes in one network.

The NGS Smart Farming Mobilize App :

Your weather data wherever you are

Easily access your data with Mobilize, our free, intuitive, decision-making app (available for Android devices)
that puts field data in your hands. Designed with your needs in mind customize screen
views, quickly browse sensor data, view forecast, frost info and more.

The NGS Smart Farming Website:

You're Data, Your Way

Your data can be easily accessed via Nyasta.in, a secure site dedicated to your weather-viewing needs.
It displays current conditions, sensor status, and makes running reports a snap.

Our WeatherLink.com site allows you to customize your dashboard, perform in-depth analysis with
reports, charts and graphs, export data and much more. Customize the dashboard to your
preferences; even share data privately with others.
